Description

The goal of ABRACADABRA is to build the literacy skills of young children. ABRACADABRA is a web-based application that utilizes a balanced reading curriculum to help students develop word, text, fluency, and writing skills. Most often, small groups of children work through the various activities on the website with trained facilitators.

The goal of ABRACADABRA is to build the literacy skills of young children.

Results / Accomplishments

Children were evaluated pre- and post-intervention. Those who participated in the ABRACADABRA program displayed more letter-sound knowledge than children in the control group. In addition, intervention children were better able to blend sounds than children in the control group.
