North Texas Community Health Collaborative Behavioral Health Strategic Initiative

Through collaboration, the North Texas Community Health Collaborative will improve behavioral health in the region by:

• Promoting prevention, early detection and addressing stigma to reduce behavioral health-related disparities

• Providing relevant health metrics in the 16-county area of North Texas

• Facilitating partnership among health systems, local mental and sectors engaged in the community

 

Using funds from a grant from Texas Department State Health Services we will:

• Provide Mental Health First Aid training through our Local Mental Health Authority partners in our 16 surrounding counties

•Provide Recovery Workshops to educate and support those in recovery or those with family in recovery

• Provide Opioid Webinar Series to educate healthcare workers and the community on the current Opioid Crisis in America
